  6. **** Installation ****

  8. System requirements:
  9. Pentium 100 mhz
  10. DirectX compatible graphics accelerator and soundcard
  11. Windows 95 + DirectX 5 or Windows 98
  12. 1.5 Mb Free harddisk space
  13.  
  14. You can install to any directory you wish. Just unzip the files with
  15. Winzip to chosen folder and execute capsule.exe.

  17. **** Unistalling Capsule ****

  19. Capsule does NOT use windows registry, so you can unistall capsule by
  20. simply deleting the folder which contains the game.

  24. **** How to register Capsule ****

  27. Capsule is NOT freeware. You can evaluate the program for free, but if 
  28. you like it and want to continue using it you must register your copy.
  29. Registration fees in different countries are:

  33.     Australia:    12 AUD        Germany:    13 DEM

  37. If the country you live in isn't listed and you are interested in
  38. registering the game, please send me email to address

  41. Unregistered version reminds you to register your copy when you play
  42. at level 8 or higher. Also you won't see all animations and you can't
  43. finish the game. Otherwise unregistered version has all full game
  44. features. When you register, all restrictions will disappear.

  47. to jani_immonen@hotmail.com, and I'll send you details how to make a
  48. payment and receive your registration code.

  50. When you receive your registration code only thing you have to do is
  51. enter the code to the game. Select from main screen SETTINGS, and after
  52. that REGISTRATION. Enter the name and code I sent you and you are
  53. registered!

  77. It means that you can copy and distribute unregistered version of
  78. capsule as long as you distribute ALL original files. Those files
  79. are:
  80.     -CAPSULE.EXE
  81.     -GRAPHS.DAT
  82.     -SOUNDS.DAT
  83.     -README.TXT
  84.     -LUEMINUT.TXT    - this is a Finnish version of README.TXT
  85.     -HOWTOPLAY.TXT
  86.     -OHJEET.TXT    - this is a Finnish version of HOWTOPLAY.TXT

  88. If one or more of these files are missing DO NOT continue using that
  89. copy, and get new package from: www.jytol.fi/~janimm/capsule/

  91. If you are a registered user, all updates to capsule are free until
  92. version 2.0. Updated versions of capsule use same registration code,
  93. so you dont need to register capsule again if you update the game.
  94. In some cases you might have to re-enter your registration code after
  95. update. Write down your code and keep it in safe place.

  100. **** Problems ? ****

  102. Game wont start:
  103.  
  104. Make sure you have directX version 5 or newer installed. DirectX
  105. libraries are not included to capsule package because the size of
  106. libraries. You'll find newest directX libraries from Microsoft
  107. homepages at www.microsoft.com/directx/, or for example incuded
  108. in new game package.
  109. This game is succesfully tested with DirextX 6.

  111. Game is too slow:
  112.  
  113. Press F12 and you will see FPS rate in lower right corner of your
  114. screen. If FPS rate is less than 60, your computer can't run capsule
  115. fast enough for some reason. If you have a 100 mhz or less pentium 
  116. with 1 MB graphics accelerator, your system might be too slow.
  117. If this is not a case, check that your graphics accelerator and
  118. soundcard drivers are 100 % directX compatible. Check out the newest
  119. drivers from your hardware manufactures homepages.

  121. Game is too fast:
  122.  
  123. If FPS rate is greater than 80, game might be unplayable fast. In some
  124. Pentium 2 systems with fast graphics accelerator FPS rate can be as
  125. high as 150. In some cases changing the monitor refresh rate from
  126. -Optimal- to any other setting will most likely solve this problem.
  127. Reason for this behavior is unknow.
